Day 21, Bonavista, July 1st, Canada Day

Yes we did arrive at Arch and Marie's Bed and Breakfast in Bonavista later in the afternoon, and as your eyes wander southward during your reading of this passage, you'll notice our breakfast table the next morning has an unusual decorative touch to it, compared to the usual breakfast fair.

Sharon and I, Donna and Keith, divided into pairs again today, each choosing to seek out our own separate adventures.  We chose to make our first stop, actually our only stop, in Elliston, on the eastern shores of the peninsula, a leisurely one hours drive away. It was here that I was confronted by a stranger, Sharon and I witnessed an iceberg flipping over, and we had another refreshing suck from a growler.

Enjoy

Forty-five (count them), 45 jars of 45 different kinds of jams and jellies.
And many have household names we have all grown up to love. Names such as: Bakeapple, Squash Berry, and Yellow Pepper. Or how about Dandelion, Turnip, and Choke Cherry.

I'm thinkin' you want to count and verify if there is in fact 45 jars not 43. I've counted them all, upwards and downwards, backwards and forwards, and with each count got a different result. I'm sticking with 45 jars though, just because it looks right.
