LET THE GAMES BEGIN

The Continental Cup is an exciting curling event held every year. Vegas has hosted this event 3 of the last 5 years.
Countries are represented by teams from around the world. This year Canada and the United States represented North America, the European teams represented the World.

Three very good colour commutators.

Vic Router was doing a report on this aquarium and he was in my way. I toggled until he left the picture before I clicked the shutter.

Canada is taking a whooping and it is only DAY 2.

If you ever watch the introduction to curling on TSN, you'll recognize the next series of photos . . . or you may not, it all passes by so quickly.

In all of these photographs I had to push the PAUSE button on my remote to stop the play.
Then I toggled frame by frame until I found the moment I wanted to photograph. In most cases the pictures are sharply focused, and I will share the credit with the HD image.

North America wins this draw.

Now it is the Worlds' turn to crow.

This year was not to be for North America.

When the last rock was thrown, the World won the 2019 title 34 - 26.
