At the age of fifty-five I guess it's time to go.  

The city has informed residents that they will be replacing the power poles in our alley over the next week or so, and it looks as if this is the day ours is being replaced.  And I thought to myself, "why not take a photo or more of this historic event"--so I did.

But we have to go back to last year when I first learned of this day.
