Jumpingpound Summit - July 2

It is always a bit of an adventure finding this trail head while travelling south along Powderface Trail. And as in the past, it again took a collaborative effort to get us to this point.
Well, it started out kind of bleak and it really never changed all that much--well not until we were at the summit--then Mother Nature flexed her muscles. The trail head starts at the bottom-left corner and follows the zig-zaggy line north-east up to the top-right corner to Jumpingpound Mountain. Where the ziggy line comes to the T-junction is the 2.5 kilometre section. From here to the summit is an additional kilometre in distance.
Other members of our group took a longer route coming in from the top to the triangle and met us at the summit.
Our journey's end is the white line just above the word Jumpingpound.
