On our way.

Due to all of the fires from the US and our surrounding provinces, we are experiencing quite a bit of smoke hazing the atmosphere.

We are heading up this trail, then hiking over to that big rock and eventually ending up at this river-wide falls.

Once at the falls, it's time to claim our individual lunch-sitting spots and enjoy the peacefulness.

BRIDGE OVER NOT SO TROUBLED WATERS

Following lunch we crossed over the Sheep River and continued along for another K or so before doing an about-face and heading back to our parking lot.

We are heading down into a gulley which at one time was spanned by a bridge but has since washed out by flooding waters. Now it is a matter of navigating our way down, then up, then down again to the river's edge and after that, back to the car.

Still a smoky day in the mountains.
