Mike and Nicole have just purchased a home in Belle River, and Duck Creek is their water playground which laps up onto their back yard.

Mike is recording this intense moment of Nicole, who is standing, McKyla, Kelly, Trinity, and Brayden, in a frantic moment of attempting to anchor themselves to the dock.

Set Adrift


This time afloat the sailors are grandsons Ryan and Brayden, great granddaughter McKyla and daughter Kelly.

These carpenter bees are busy excavating a nest in a porch railing.

And from a safe distance Ms. dove is watching the bees at work.

Cindy and Kelly decided it was time to get busy and roast some marshmallows.

Oops, Aunt Cindy, another marshmallow just slipped off again.

No sense in fooling around with singletons.

Hanging Out at Belle River Beach

The next day Sharon and I drive back to Belle River and meet up at West Beach with my daughters Kelly and Nicole, son-in-law Mike, and grandkids, Ryan and Trinity.

No way is Auntie Kel going to coax Trinity into the water.

But Ryan seems quite willing.

Over time Trinity may learn to enjoy playing in the water, but for now, playing in the sand is tons less stressful.

This is it for Sharon and My visit to Windsor, we'll soon be hopping the train and riding the rails to Toronto.
