While hanging out at Heather and Mike's, I could often hear the distinct call of what I initially figured was that of an owl. But with a little bit of gumshoeing, it was not long before I discovered the wonderful call of the dove was what I was listening to.

Sharon and I quite often cut through Albert Standing Parkette heading towards our day's journeys.

A Loving Smile

Heather is giving Mom a heads-up on working with Google Maps and iPad.

Today we are meeting up with Sue and Andy at the Toronto Brick Works.

The Don Valley Brick Works operated for nearly 100 years, providing bricks for the construction of many Toronto landmarks, including Massey Hall and the Toronto Legislature.

Ten Minutes After Three

"Wow! Was that a bird or a plane?"

"I'm not too sure what that was Heather."

We can't decide what to explore before it rains.

Well as it turned out we didn't wander too far before it did start to rain, so we opted for our favourite beverages instead.

The following day we are off to, you guessed it, a Blue Jay's game.

Very Good Seats

Forward thinking folks brought their baseball gloves with them.

A home run ball came sailing our way and hit the wall of the next level just above our heads. With a little less "oomph" from the batter, someone would have definitely had a souvenir to take home with them, and it very well could have been me. And a stinging bare- handed catch no less.

These folks certainly have a great view.

After the Toronto win it was back to Mike's for a wonderfully prepared BBQ.
