Our original plan was to visit the Gopher Hole Museum in Torrington and then drive on to Drumheller and pay a visit at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology, which is all about dinosaurs.
Well not everything went according to our plan.
Enjoy
Welcome to Torrington AB And the Gopher Hole Museum.
Lots of folks love to come and see taxidermically stuffed gophers.
The rounded portion of pins in the topish-left corner is to no surprise people from Alberta.
An interesting biography of Shelley Barkman, the women responsible for all of the art work and paintings on both sides of the museum-- inside and out.
Along with Shelley's backdrop paintings, nine local students helped to set up and arrange all the exhibits.
Taken from the passenger seat on the way to Rowley.
Our next stop after Torrington is Rowley which is kind of a ghost town. All the buildings are locked but our tour guide had the town keys.
